PRESS RELEASE

Hallo© anticipates

Hallo© Academy for applied creativity is a postgraduate education, continuously looking for new roads. Every year we improve our program, we anticipate on new views, we implement the latest developments and ideas about communication and we like to try out new patterns of play. In this way we are constantly working on the future. It may also, given our ambitious mission: ”We want to show the established order how the future should look like”. Furthermore we pledge to individual support for each student. Against this background we further optimize the curriculum.

In the introduction period we start to work with two small groups. In this phase of unlearning, learning to look differently and opportunity seeking, extra personal attention is a ‘must’. Experience has shown that. Two groups of up to twelve students are put together. The first group starts at the 24th of October 2011 with the introduction part. The second group starts the 2nd of January 2012 with the introduction part. In January the first group runs an alternative program. Later in the year the second group is running this alternative program.

In early February the two groups together will continue. The lectures and classes run until June.

Following the curriculum, students receive a trainee program of two months with their personal coach. During the trainee period, of course they work on projects for the agency, but also on projects they want to show at Hallo© Exposed. This has two advantages. There’s an even better connection to the practice. There is more time to exhibit work to perfect.

Hallo© Exposed is moved to the first week of September. In 2012 from 3 to 6 September. Especially the last year mid-June was not a felicitous choice. The Netherlands is behaving Mediterranean. In

July and August everybody is gone. So passionate Hallo© graduates cannot sell their story and sometimes have to wait until September to find adequate response. Hallo© Exposed in the beginning of September, has the advantage that the creative industry is equipped to work again and can invest more time and attention to fresh talents.

PERSBERICHT

Already ten years of Hallo© And that's a reason to celebrate! The planning for a big party/gathering/exhibition/event/ et cetera is already started but we do lack enough Hallo© work to show. We have some though, but frequently low resolution.

We want a lot more high resolution Hallo© material, so here's our question: Do you have any Hallo© material in your digital archives? Maybe a cd-rom somewhere in your closet with pictures of your taste group assignment or printed material we can duplicate?

If so, please phone or e-mail us! And let us also show your work at Hallo© ten years!
